Terms of Use

Last updated: April 25, 2026

1. What ToSomeone is

ToSomeone is an anonymous public archive of messages people never sent. It is for emotional writing, browsing, name search, and reflection, not for identity verification.

2. Public content

Messages submitted to ToSomeone may appear publicly on the site, in search results, archive pages, and share cards.

3. No accounts

ToSomeone does not require accounts or profiles.

4. Keep it anonymous

Do not submit full names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, social handles, workplaces, school names, or anything that could identify another person.

5. No harassment or exposure

ToSomeone is not a place to contact, expose, threaten, shame, harass, dox, or punish someone through anonymous posting.

6. Not proof of identity or relationship

Name matches, emotionally familiar stories, and anonymous drafts do not prove who wrote a message, who it was meant for, or whether a specific relationship is being described.

7. User content license

By submitting a message, you allow ToSomeone to display, format, index, moderate, remove, and generate share cards from that message.

8. Moderation

We may hide or remove messages at any time, especially if they create a privacy concern, identify a real person, raise a safety issue, or break these terms.

9. Removal requests

If a message includes identifying information or violates these terms, use the removal request page.

10. Not therapy or crisis support

ToSomeone is not medical, mental health, legal, or crisis support.

11. Age

ToSomeone is not directed to children under 13.

12. No guarantees

The site is provided as-is.

13. Changes

We may update these terms.
